Emily's 2nd recital - 10 years
She gets so nervous a few days before hand, loses sleep, frets over the 'what-ifs', and practices more than usual. Then comes the day of the recital, and she shines! She comes away feeling confident and wondering why in the world she was worried in the first place. Good job, Emily! Play for Jesus!

The Man of the Hour on Father's Day!
We treated Dada to a nice breakfast at Weck's this morning. We always have lots of giggles and laughs when we get together. Happy Father's Day, Dada! I love you!

CAP Summer Encampment Graduation
Above is the beginning of the ceremony.
Silas was called forward for a special award.
Approaching the panel.
Handed off his flag so he could receive his award - saluting.
The award and a handshake. He won Honor Cadet - the highest award he could get at encampment. It was decided on a points system - points for how they kept their bunks and how they drilled, how they did in athletics, their attitude and helpfulness, etc.
Taking his flag back to his position on the field.
Marching in the "parade".
Talking to Dad after the festivities.
With Mom, Daniel and Emily.
With Aaron Holets - a fellow cadet and friend.
